From June 8 to 12, Bus 040 serviced a Quezon City-based school from their campus to St Paul Center of Renewal, Alfonso, Cavite. This was a retreat for a high school batch. The drive took nearly two and a half hours. From the moment they got there, the students already showed clear appreciation and a sense of ease brought by the beauty of the renewal center.
St. Paul Center for Renewal is a serene retreat and formation center located along Alfonso–Maragondon Road in Barangay Tayawanak Ilaya, Alfonso, Cavite. Owned and operated by St. Paul University Manila and the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres, the center serves as a venue for spiritual renewal, prayer, reflection, leadership formation, seminars, conferences, and retreats for individuals and groups seeking a peaceful environment away from the distractions of daily life.
Surrounded by the cool climate and natural beauty of Alfonso, Cavite, the center provides an atmosphere conducive to contemplation, personal growth, and community building.
